I got the pc from a friend of mine

Hey I’ve been experimenting with controllers and such and I connected my PlayStation classic usb controller into my pc when I got re3 on steam but the d pad doesn’t seem like it wants to work. I’ve pressed f1 and messed with the controller settings in the game and I’ve also mapped out my controller but still no luck help.
