Guides for histographic/high score victories?
Hello. I still lack a deity victory, but I am trying for that one now. After deity, my next focus will be a histographic victory. I've never played for that condition before, only winning that way when I was too poor to achieve any other victory.
I found a guide from. Sir Pleb in the war academy about maximizing score, and I've seen some threads from spoonwoid about his various histographic wins, but interested in other resources or guidance.
Just putting what I briefly understand as the most important parts--choose an huge archipelago map with a high domination limit, grow your population as early as possible (agr trait helpful here), keep your population as happy as possible, conquer all the other civs as early as possible, leaving just one trapped in a desert or tundra prison). Milk for score by growing as many large cities as possible, including along the coast, hopefully just one tile short of the domination limit. Avoid a culture or other win accidentally.
The hard part is doing all of the above at the highest level difficulty possible. I haven't decided what difficulty level to play this at.
