Excess insurance doesn't mention vans - damaged a van - rejecting claim

Hi all,

I hired a van from Enteprise recently and had an issue with a wooden panel being broken. I had excess insurance, and that has rejected my claim, based on the fact that they offer van insurance and it was excluded from my policy.

I've looked through all the policy documents I was sent, and nowhere does it say that vans aren't covered, or non-accident based damage isn't covered, but they've rejected on those grounds.

When I emailed asking for where it listed those exlusions, they sent screenshots, but not documents of policy docs saying that, but that aren't mine.

Can I/should I continue to challenge them as the documents don't say either of these things? Any advice welcome!

Delay repay - return journey all single tickets

Me and my partner recent traveled to and from the Lake District from London that on the return was delayed by about 4 hours in the heat

We bought a return journey on Trainline, but because of split save, all the tickets we were emailed were sent were advance singles. We put in for delay repay but have only been given it for the return journey.

Would welcome ideas about challenging this and if it’s worth it?

Like the title says, I live in the UK and need to renew my US passport. I haven't lived in the States since I was a child and have never filed or paid taxes, and have always been well below any thresholds that would require me to.

Will renewing flag anything, or am I worrying over nothing? I can always travel on my UK passport, and am exploring a Canadian instead, so not that bothered about having the US passport but it may be helpful.

Any insights welcome!
