Hey I'm an incoming hsci student and I was scrolling through the course slots on Solus js cuz i wanted to start thinking abt schedulling and stuff. So, I was looking at one of the core courses, PHGY 170, and I noticed that two of the "sections" or wtv seem identical but are separated for some reason?? Is there a difference between the top 2 options (4874 and 4878) or r they js the same thing? thx for the help guys im js a bit confused lmao

Hey guys, incoming health sci student here!! I js had a question about some of the differences between option and core courses during Year 1 as sm1 aiming for med school....

To my understanding the six required courses are anat 100, glph 171, hsci 190, idis 173, phar 100, and phgy 170. Aside from those required courses, I can only take 1 or 2 courses from the options list and then 1-2 as electives, whichhh isnt a lot imo. So i was wondering which courses among biol 102, biol 103, chem 112, physics, socy, and psych courses are the most worth taking? Ideally I should be choosing physics since I've never done physics before but it'd feel weird "sacrificing" the biol or chem courses. Is most of the content in biol 102, biol 103, and chem 112 covered in the core courses or r they smth that i should prioritize choosing over physics, psych, socy, or a bird course.
