Been giving my Kansas Main Street for my Oz/Wicked park a glow-up with the new Parades pack (still WIP)! Proud of how my skills/style has progressed within the sepia colour theme I’m using which ain’t easy. Can definitely see the difference. Please bring back Missy Good for this bakery!

LOVING the Parade DLC. New roof pieces & so many bits are fab. Does anyone have any tips for the issue where custom text on signs or the placeable text blurs when zooming out? It’s happening when I’m not even zoomed out that far and spoils appreciating what I’ve built. Grateful for any tips!

Frontier - Parades DLC is amazing but PC1 entertainers are missing for fairytale, pirate, western and Sci Fi floats - please bring them back! Players - they if you support this please comment!

Absolutely LOVE the parade DLC BUT we are missing entertainers from PC1 for our fairytale (Princess Amalie), pirate (Captain Lockjaw), western (Miss Elie) and Sci Fi (Dex R) themes for when we build floats using these.

These themes are so common within theme parks and it would be such a loss to not have appropriate entertainers in these areas of our parks or on our parade floats.

Please seriously consider either adding these in game or bringing new characters for these or similar themes if you intend on expanding them in the future in new ways.

I’d also personally really appreciate entertainers being flexicolour to make them even more adaptable for different areas! E.g. for vikings this might help to give the illusion of different battling clans by using different colours, or I could make Mayor Pipwhistle’s outfit green to be the Wizard of Oz!

A mulled over thought - if the upcoming DLC is indeed parades this is THE moment to bring back our missing entertainers from PC1 into PC2, giving us more parade participators and a lovely splash of nostalgia. A missed opportunity otherwise! What do you think & who would you want to see back in game?

I love detail and just spent an hour and half on this custom picture frame, in the absence of our beloved spooky pack. I haven’t uploaded anything to the workshop as yet but wondering if anyone would find bits like this useful for your own builds? Let me know if you would! ❤️

I’d really like to see gobo style lighting effects in game (essentially the spotlights split into smaller rays projecting patterns on the ground) - I think it’d bring more dynamic lighting and rotating these would be such a great effect in rides.

Essentially this uses light to project textures and patterns.

This would enable us to create our own magical or water style lighting effects, and would make the most out of the lighting engine. A similar effect happens when the sun shines through leaves of a tree so this must be possible with global illumination. These are so commonly used in dark rides. Just a few simple versions that are flexicolour I believe would bring innovation like the moving platforms and would be such a game changer in how we light the scenes that we build!

These would also be an elegant solution to emulating in some way projection mapping for evening shows onto our buildings.

If performance is an issue, the game could limit the amount of projectors being able to be used in an area and offer a library of available textures (e.g. geometric shapes, stars, circles, leaves, etc.).

Proud of how my ride vehicle for my Electric Institute dark ride turned out - the ride customisation is a great feature for anyone considering buying PC2! Now onto building the station…

Frontier - please allow longer ride queue times (currently max 18 mins) or for us to switch off guest queue tolerance in sandbox to enable longer queues.

Currently guests will not queue for rides where the queue time is longer than around 18 mins or where the queue itself is too long.

Please allow us to switch off guest queue tolerance in sandbox settings so they will use any length of queues, or increase their tolerance.

For e-ticket attractions it is quite common for guests to queue for up to 2 hours for popular rides so please match this realism.

I’m creating a ride similar to Epic Universe’s Monsters Unchained or Ministry of Magic where the queue is highly themed and an integral part of the ride experience - as it stands I’m unable to do this as guests just walk away and won’t queue.

Random question out of curiosity - in terms of the special effects in game (smoke, sparks, bubbles, etc.), what do you most frequently use, which ones do you miss most from PC1 that we don’t currently have and any ideas for new special effects you’d find useful?
