Balkans theater freeze

Hi guys, I was looking for a short campaign to play and I decided to try the Balkans theater for the first time in 4.38.

The map is stunning, but I crashed, or rather my game froze with sound keeping on, two times on the same spot on the map.

It was my first sortie in the Under Siege campaign, I crashed in the area around central Serbia. I found many posts on the forum regarding these weird freeze-crashes, do I have to give up on this theater? I am on the latest version of BMS and I downloaded the latest version of the theater + the 1.2 hotfix.

For now I uninstalled it, I am a bit recluctant to try it again and lose more hours of playtime

Can't decide between Rotate MD-11 and FF777

I'm willing to make use of this big current sale and buy a big airliner, but I can only buy one.

I heard great things about both, and I'm sure that everyone has their subjective preference.

What I think about each one:

B777: modern, more intuitive and similar to the 737 I know. Great for ease of use and a lot of nice features like checklists, copilots and ground ops. The autopilot is modern and very similar to the 737's that I need to study for flight school. Cons: I think all this perfection is gonna be boring outside of takeoff and landing

MD-11: older, raw, I need to learn almost everything about it from scratch. Love the 3 engines and its aesthetics, plus different and older avionics. Simbrief integration and sim features like terrain and wx radar now fully functional. Seems more fun for short-medium hauls, since I don't like long hauls. It's also cheaper right now. Cons: I gotta dedicate time to learn it, seems to have less fancy features than the FF

Btw when does the sale end?
