planning a road trip up the PCH then across 80 to Co.

our MO is to run pretty rough for the first half of the trip mucking around, hiking, camping, getting filthy, but like to have a few days at a nice hotel to recoup.

traveling with a pet, so limited on options.

was looking at Sheraton park city or Thanes.

Any other recos along that strip I’m missing?

Sitting on just shy of 1.5 MM pts, and would prefer to use them for the stay.

love the show and listen to it every flight I’m on like twice a week trying to catch up on all back episodes.

is there a trick to sound optimization? Yesterday I tried to listen to E172 the past times with Katie Boyle and it was unlistenable. She sounded like she was in an echo chamber standing 30 ft from the mike.

when I turned it up so I could hear her, when G and D would chime in it almost blew my eardrums out, especially their laughs.

maybe it was because I had headphones in, but it was unlistenable.

id think with the resources the show has they would meticulously audit the sound, and if it’s that bad just skip publishing it.

any tips?
