This is most likely tabu tabu but it could be a stone canyon (are they red?). It measures 45 x 25 x 6 mm with a tapered side and nice dome. Polished from 80 - 220 - 240 - 600 - 1200 - cerium. The vug you see isn't a vug, just REALLY clear chalcedony, I didn't expect much from it as you can see from the before picture but it really surprised me.

This was purchased off an estate sale from an old timer who lived near Sisters, OR who frequented the site for Holley blues back in the 70's. I cleaned it up by smoothing out the rough sides, polished it on my cabber and it's on display at my house.

The lapidary community isn't that far reaching TBH, most folks who post fakery want to get the most clicks they can get for revenue generation so it doesn't make sense to post it to such a small community. So many BS videos about these unworldly moss agate cabochons that literally look like they have the garden of Eden in the cleanest chalcedony you could ever see just seems to be a waste of time. Am I missing something?
