[WIP] Just wanted to vent that the colour of my floss is just sliiiiightly off between skeins...

And it's driving me nuts.

(Just to clarify it's the column on the right which is still in progress, not the one on the left. Also I know I have a half stitch / with no . Also forgive my dirty canvas, I have no idea how I got it so grubby).

I didn't even notice last night while I was stitching in the dark, but in daylight it's so evident. Hopefully, it won't really show up once the piece is complete, but right now I'm so done. :/

ETA: It's DMC162.

I'm contemplating feathering it in one I see how it looks finished.

ETA: Thank you all for letting me vent! I knew other stitchers would see the colour/gloss change.

I reset my progress so I could start over, but now I can't find s Restore Purchases button.

Anyone know how to get back everything I paid for?

[FO] Feeling proud of how it came out because the pattern did not do me any favours

"Anime Forest Friends" by ImCrossStitcher.

This was a bit of a word one because the little spirits came out great, but the colours were totally off and so I ended up frogging the shading and redoing it (on fabric that was not happy about being embroidered in the first place). I think I trusted the process too much without critically thinking about the colours; next time, if I sew it again, I would be more discerning.

Also there was no backstitching for the flower, so it was just one large lump. And the acorn was just plain weird (due to the colour choices).

Overall, I think I salvaged it by changing colours on the fly and adding some (amateur) backstitching. What do you think?

[FO] Advice please: the Calcifer side seems so small on the bag - should I add something else? what should I add?

[WIP] ADVICE on backing, please

So I used waste canvas and found the pattern was coming out way too small, so I frogged it and did the stitches much larger. It came out a bit choppy, but I like it overall.

After I pulled at the waste canvas I re-tensioned all the stitches, pulling the loose to the back.

I've never had much luck with the iron on backing - does anyone have any advice on how to get it to work? Also, I'm contemplating using some PVA glue/ modge podge on the back stitches to try and fasten them in place so they won't loosen too easily.

Thoughts please!

Started off with good intentions, but ended up stringing the confetti together when it got overwhelming
