Traded basket of syrplus grown produce for 2 dozen farm fresh eggs and honey 🤤

My husband's coworker raises chickens and we've purchased eggs from them before (which we both love!!). Turns out they were wanting cucumbers and like any inexperienced cuke grower, i had way too many lol. Ended up giving them a basket of various peppers, tomatoes, and cukes that we already knew were extra in exchange for 2 dozen eggs and fresh honey. Super stoked!!

(Also not sure if this kind of post is allowed since it's not 100% gardening related so mods feel free to let me know and I'll remove - I just thought it was fun but wasn't sure where to share!)

Edit: thank you for the award!!

First Test

Have been getting hit with a lot of nausea and lack of appetite lately and I knew there was a possibility but was still in shock! My husband and I are excited but nervous. We made a doctor's appt to be sure but according to my husband the test went IMMEDIATELY bright pink after I passed it to him to sit on the counter lol. This is our first time taking a test and our first to-be kiddo. Super excited 🥹

Nutone Bathroom Fan Outlet

Our bathroom fan recently stopped working so I removed the cover and unplugged the fan and tested the plug via a flat iron and it didn't come on. Based on that I assumed that the outlet wasn't functional and figured replacing the unit unit would be a next step rather than just tue motor - I turned off the breaker for the bathroom to remove the unit but the plug is somehow getting power per my voltage tester?

I did a live-dead-live test and the tester was working normally. I also plugged in my flat iron again (that does indeed work!) but it still doesn't come on even with power apparently going to the plug.

I read that this could indicate a loose neutral somewhere? I'm not an electrician so if that's the case I may sit this one out but I wanted to ask if there's something I'm missing/overlooking?

For reference the fan looks original to the house at around 20ish years old. Meter is picking up somewhere between 10-49V. I do have a voltage meter as well if that would be a better method of confirmation

Best Way to Fix/Maintain Maple Tree?

Newer to home owning and we have what I think is a silver maple tree in the front yard. Sprawling roots have tilted a portion of our sidewalk and are shallow.

I live in zone 6B. Any best management methods for the tree and reducing impact of the roots?

Also would planting flowers or something around the base to beautify things a little be an option or are the roots too in the way?

Possibly going to view this 8ft Olhausen today. Besides checking the cushions and for any bad marks/gouges is there something I should check for?
