Squirrels splooting on my porch again from another heatwave in California

Yesterday was 102 F (38.8 C) and today is 94 F (34.4 C). I noticed the squirrels splooting outside and gave them peanuts and put out water with some ice cubes in the bowl. I feel bad for the wildlife, especially the crows because they're all panting 😭

Finally I was able to capture the Maple Greg sploot from under the bed.

She does this occasionally.

The downward dog sploot

I just discovered that what my dog used to do is called a sploot. This is Louie, we sadly lost him 2 weeks ago, but here he is in his splooting glory.
