Found some root mealies for the first time the other day and have been going through the 7 stages of grief as a result.

Going to be inspecting all my plants for signs of dehydration, and unpotting anything that looks suspicious, or lived near the infected plant(s). Everything’s also going to get hit with some systemics for good measure.

The one infested plant I’ve caught at home was growing in a self watering pot, so I’m hoping that this’ll be a somewhat mitigating factor in my favor, but it’s probably cope.

I think I just caught some in one of my plants I keep at work though, and I’m reaaaally hoping they didn’t spread past that guy yet. Ugh. This blows 😩
