Whenever I go to boot the game, I get a flash of a black screen before it closes. Sometimes, I'll see a half-second of the initial load-in screen, but it will just crash again. Here's everything I have tried:

1. Validate the files
2. Re-install
3. Delete all the local files and re-install again
4. Delete all the local files and validate
5. Disable every single audio driver on my computer, even enabling one or two at a time.
6. Admin launch
7. Compatability launch
8. Safe mode (both the game and windows)
9. Closing every single program on my computer except for steam.
10. Launching from someone else's library
11. Disabling steam overlay

I would really like to try and find a fix before I ask steam for a refund, but this is getting ridiculous. I've never seen a game be this stubborn to just launch.
