Help with deciding my first PRS!
Hello all, I am looking to decide on my first PRS, and I've narrowed it down to the S2 Special Semi-hollow, mainly taking inspiration from the John Mayer Super Eagle (one can only dream of having it). Just tried one at my local store and I was in love with it, I absolutely adore a Semi-Hollow with the three pup config (hum/single/hum).
One thing i would change about the S2 would be the set neck into a bolt-on neck, I just prefer the feel of it though I'm not sure if there are any benefits to set up or tone? Hence the CE24 Semi-hollow has also caught my eye because of the bolt-on neck.
Would appreciate any advice with the necks, and maybe some influencing on what might be good with set necks vs bolt-on?
