Australian living in Germany, applying for UK Youth Mobility Visa. I've recently had a new Aus passport however my current German residency permit is tied to my old passport (the old passport number is printed on the card). Am I still able to present the correct residency permit at my biometrics appointment or do I need to have absolutely everything up to date? Alternatively can I present the permit and BOTH passports?

Apologies if obvious questions are obvious, but I don't know how much leeway the UK authorities give on these matters and some helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am looking for short term accommodation for up to 6 months, in literally any city. Planned move-in date is November but open to move between Oct-Jan. The cheaper the better, I truly have no issues with the property as long as it's cheap as fuck. Are there any useful websites or groups where I can find rental adverts? I've checked out Spareroom but I want to cast as wide a net as possible.

I will most likely still be job hunting, I'm single with no kids, no desire to splurge on any big expenses like cars or TV or what have you, and willing to move into a dirt cheap flat-share until I find a job (full time, part time, whatever)

Being brutally honest, how much should I have saved up? By the time I want to move to the UK I will have somewhere around 8k GBP. For how long can this keep me afloat until I am properly employed?

I've posted this before with no response so I'm trying again in case anyone has a suggestion.

When I open the app, for less than a second the screen will show some random deleted chat. Then it will resume showing the actual main screen with all of my chats.

HOW DO I FIX THIS? ITS SUPER FUCKING ANNOYING.
