I feel bad for Criston.

I feel bad for Criston.

The guy faithfully served both of them, but one put him at risk of being castrated/killed/sent to the Wall just because she was horny, while the other signed his death warrant and had the nerve to hide behind "fear" for him (and Gwayne) by forging a letter because she desperately wants to save her own ass from the consequences of her actions (but since he's one of those who "took her way" by not letting her play regent, I guess it's fine).

I don't share the opinion that he was truly in love with either of them, but if he was, that makes the situation even sadder.

"She saved my life" - dude, in that exact same episode, she revealed your location when nobody asked her.

p.s. wonder, if he'll ever learn about Alicent betraying her sons and team, or if he's more likely to die completely clueless like Otto?

girlboss moments, and they're just "idc".

The fact that Daemon knew Rhaenyra would fuck up.

I'm pretty sure Daemon was ready to kill Otto himself ...until this line.

Yeah, he told Rhaenyra earlier that she should be the one to do this, but by the time he handed her his sword, his motives for doing so had definitely changed.

"In this moment, you will become queen." Funny how Otto is the exact reason she even has a shot at the throne in the first place.

"Will you blame me only for what men have done?" girl, you literally ordered to track down the fleeing Aegon to seat him on the throne.

and they brought back those hideous sleeves again. as if ruining alicent's style by dressing her like some young maiden wasn't enough, now they're out here completely butchering the dresses.

I wish she put even half as much effort into protecting her sons as she did into defending Rhaenyra after her lie, their years-long feud, Driftmark, B&C.

"If Rhaenyra comes into power… your very life could be forfeit. Aemond’s as well." [and Daeron's].

But since Aegon is "broken beyond recognition", Aemond is "… you know what Aemond is", and Gwayne's words about Daeron will apparently turn out to be fake, then, of course, they aren't worth fighting for, and their lives can be disposed of however she pleases, like with Aegon.

Viserys might not have loved but it's unlikely he did wish for the murder of his sons. Just a thought, since we're hiding behind the wishes of a dead king~

King Aegon II and his s/on.

I drew this two years ago for the release of s2ep1, which coincided with father's day.

I like to think that Jaehaerys was Aegon's favorite child. And I wish Aegon were allowed to remember his firstborn, whose life was cut short so early and cruelly.

"You have no idea the sacrifices that were made" - he is the one being sacrificed.

^(I’m sick of her dumb narcissistic ass.)

The writers' obsession with giving the greens sexual deviations and humiliation

Aegon (and now apparently Jasper too) are rapists, plus Aegon has that scene where he jerks off out the window as a teenager;
Aemond has a traumatic sexual experience at a younger age, faces humiliation from his brother in a brothel at a vulnerable moment, and... now he also wants his mother;
Alicent is a woman who is the sexual obsession of every second man, and for whom sex and talking about it are more important than her children's grief;
Criston is an oath-breaking boytoy for royals;
Larys has that infamous foot fetish scene;
Ormund (by the leaks) is a rape apologist.

But of course, unlike the book, Condal and Hess are absolutely unbiased and are filming the true story, not GRRM’s green propaganda 🙏

p.s. wonder how long Gwayne and Daeron can dodge this bullet/
