What is the Retro gaming equivalent to someone saying "Mark Twain's real name was Samuel Clemens?"
Something that in a vacuum sounds smart but is not.
I'm thinking someone saying "Final Fantasy III is actually VI"

I was re-reading the Tracer strips and decided he should be the feature of my first post here
Replacing the shocks on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma and noticed my new left and right assemblies (Monroe quick strut 171352 L and R) look slightly different. Part numbers match, but the right strut has this exposed metal under the plastic cover as well as slightly less screw thread exposed. It also came with the three top nuts installed. Are these likely just a product update that will not affect anything, or do I need to reach out to Rock Auto about swapping one of these? It looks like the stock struts on the truck match one another
This past weekend I got a chance to shoot a friend’s LV 1.6, Etha 2, and Defender. I play with an EMF100, hopper fed these days, so I’m used to a mechanical trigger with a physical push button safety. I really liked the responsiveness of the electrics, but only the defender had a physical safety. We mostly play rec woodsball and I crash into trees and fall down hills pretty much every other game, so I really appreciate a physical safety on my EMF I can click on when I’m dashing for an objective so I don’t fat finger a shot or have it go off when I crash. The defender is a little more milsim style and has a selector switch for safe, semi, burst, and full, which was really nice. I don’t imagine many electrics have that, but are there any with a push button safety like an EMF or other mech gun?
Trying to find a good mask for a friend getting back into the game. Don’t mind a little wear as long as the lens isn’t entirely beat to shit and doesn’t fog. If you’ve got a mask that’s comparable to those I named, drop that too.
