There's been a lot of talk that 'the beast is cooked' and some of that was visible in Alien; Covenant, Alien: Romulus and Alien: Earth.
Not everyone agrees with this idea.
What do you think?
The mural in Prometheus is one of the more mysterious things to come from that film.
Prometheus is a film that sets out to attempt to explain some of life's mysteries. In that process we are faced with a mural with no explanation at all.
There's a reference in Giger's lifecycle mural that was made for the original Alien, proving that David did not in fact create the XX121.
Sharing this video here. Hopefully it's okay.
It's kinda strange that there's been nothing for Blade Runner 2099 since San Diego Comic Con. No TV ads, no more imagery or updates for going on seven weeks.
It makes me nervous because they need eyes on this series desperately. I'm praying to the Replicant gods that the series is good. I have hope.
Science Officer Rook is one of the most controversial characters of Alien Romulus.
Pseudo-performed by a long passed Ian Holm, Rook is the villain of Romulus, no question about that. Built as a practical puppet with ai used to perfect Holm's face, Rook is now legend in the Alien Saga.
What do you think about Rook? Should the character have been female as Fede initially wrote her?
Join us LIVE on YouTube tonight at 7pm EST 4pm PST for a full roundtable discussion. Tonight's topic is a full breakdown of the events leading up to where the ALIEN IP is today. This includes the early announcement of an Alien: Romulus followup, Fede's comments and eventual departure, leading up to where things are today.
This should be a lively and informative roundtable. We hope you can join us. To take part, go to www.youtube.com/@perfectorganismpodcast

Everyone on Kurosaki station wears a patch based on their role and position; these are the ones worn by the Weyland-Yutani medical and scientific staff working in the Colony.
The Kurosaki logo is written in both English and kanji, symbolizing the British-Japanese dual origin of the company. Kuro (黒) means black, and saki (崎) means promontory, a fitting name for a station on a dark and lonely edge of the galaxy.
Elgyn, the fearless leader and mercenary of the Betty starship. Played with humor and tenacity by Michael Wincott, Elgyn is a character, like so many before him, who's life ends way too quickly.
Wincott brings a quiet cool to Alien: Resurrection, grounding the otherwise slapstick and incompetent crew
Kay is played with absolute authenticity and fearlessness by Isabela Merced.
While the character of Kay was a bit of a plot device, Merced turned in an incredible performance that stays with us long by the end of the film.
Big News on our next Alien Day 2027 Audio Drama!!
Official synopsis for the conclusion to Alien: Apotheosis!
"Following the devastating events of Apotheosis, the Antares Colony is collapsing. As the last survivors make their way across the rain-soaked planet toward an abandoned Weyland-Yutani outpost, scientist Jo Denton struggles to protect her comatose son, Samuel, a child whose inexplicable condition has made him the focus of Weyland-Yutani. With nowhere left to run, the outpost may offer their only chance to survive.
The arrival of a Weyland-Yutani retrieval team changes everything. As Jo, Taryn, Elliot and the remaining colonists fight to stay alive, they begin to realize that survival may no longer be the only thing at stake."
Captain Oram.
Played with as much honesty as the script allowed *and it didn't allow much* by Billy Crudup, Oram was a headstrong captain whose deeply held religious convictions ultimately guided the crew of the Covenant toward their doom. Only two would survive.
Kane, the first victim in the ALIEN saga.
Driven by exploration and wonder, consumed by a biology beyond horror and imagination. Played beautifully by John Hurt, Kane's curiosity was his undoing. Untrained and unknowing, he stepped, literally head first into the alien lifecycle, birthing Big Chap and a legacy that would last decades.
We salute Clemens!
Mysteriously and wonderfully portrayed by actor Charles Dance, Clemens makes a brief yet lasting impression on Ripley and the Alien saga.
