What’s your Resurrection hot take?

How many people actually don't like AlienS and consider it overrated?

There is Russian Alien YouTuber Kentek who in early 2020s made 2 videos "Ridley Scott real canon" and "How Cameroon ruined franchise". He says that 2nd film rectons xenomorphs. In video game logic it would be called nerf. So he thinks Alien1 implied that Alien is immortal or at least can't be shot by bullets. And of course Eggmorphing is better than the Queen.

He says "Why WY need those fragile creatures so badly if they could get army of tigers". And also say A: Isolation is only real legit Alien sequel.

I ve seen Alien theory read Cameroon interview and haters of 2nd film said something like that but overall I ve seen only 2 youtubers who say that Aliens break the lore and make Xenomorph not perfect organism.

Amanda Ripley Fate

Whenever I play Alien Isolation, I sometimes can't help but think of how in Aliens, Ellen Ripley wakes up after 50+ years of hypersleep, and finds out that her daughter Amanda passed away from Cancer at 66 years old. I could be wrong, but isn't it said that Weyland-Yutani (or just Wayland?) created CURES for Cancer in the Alien Universe? I know that I'm probably overthinking, but if Amanda's death WASN'T a cover up by Weyland-Yutani, I feel like that just because that there might have been a cure for Cancer, something similar to Cancer probably developed in Amanda. With Alien Isolation 2 coming out in a little while, I honestly think it would be REALLY interesting seeing some more lore developed of Amanda and what she experiences too! That's just what I think, though. :)

Bishop does fire two missiles right?

Excuse the image. It's difficult to pause on streaming. In the climactic escape from the Atmosphere processor just before they exit the structure Bishop does fire two missiles? I can see two plumes of smoke as they zoom off but have never seen it acknowledged or mention of how the effects was done. It really is blink and you'll miss it.

Human hosted aliens also run pretty fast. Maybe Runner should be called scout or animalien? Cattlien? Sprinter?

Let’s Start from the Beginning

Recently, I became a dad and one of my close friends gifted this book to my now 11-month-old daughter. Her smiles and laughs throughout me reading the book to her at bedtime made my heart sign. She already knows to watch out for Ash!

Xenomorph Queen/Nemesis Hybrid

I know that Xenomorph Queens don't usually fight, but something I can't help but think how absolutely HORRIFYING it would be if the Xenomorph Queen from Aliens would endlessly chase/hunt Ellen Ripley non-stop and actually become even MORE stronger over time! That's just what I think, though. :)
