Just got my MK1 at the FFL and color me impressed. It is awesome looking this gray anodized finish is like a turquoise grey. It’s fit and finish matches my HK MR556 A4. Very tight upper and lower. So now I’m going to decide how to outfit it. I have a Surefire turbo mini with switch and pressure pad to throw on. I also have a T2 with Lrp mount but I’m wondering if an eotech/magnifier would be better. I’d also maybe put an Aimpoint magnifier with the T2 if I stuck with it . I’m going to get the huxwrx 556k for this soon. I don’t use NODS so I’m not going to waste money on a laser. Thinking of the B5 forend too. I just form 1’d it so I’m going to SBR this. Can’t wait to shoot this next week.

Anyone ever cancel an order with SOLGW? I ask because I placed an order about two weeks ago for the MK1 with a discount. I realize it’s taking some around 5 months to get these. I see them available at Rooftop and I can get them the same price right now.

I’ll be finishing up my SPECWAR in the next week or so. I plan to add a HUXWRX 556k to it as well and I’m debating LPVO or dot/magnifier. As it stands I have the following:

KAC SR15 mod 2 with an ATACR 1-8

HK MR556A4 w/ eotech exps3

COLT M4a1 block II with comp M4s

I was debating getting another ATACR 1-8 in FDE for the SPECWAR since it’ll be an ODG build. Too much?
I’ve also contemplated getting a higher magnification optic for the KAC (think NX8 2.5 x whatever since it’s 16”).
