I'm drawing Hobart's coffee scene - last week things got a bit weird

I'm a Hobart local who's been drawing café shopfronts around the city in ink and watercolour for a couple of years. I want to capture the vibe of the coffee scene in an urban cool kind of way.

Last week I shared a pic of it on insta and it kind of exploded - even Pulse Tasmania and ABC radio found me!

The comments turned into the most wholesome Hobart café rabbit hole. People weren't just dropping names - they were genuinely yapping with me about why their spot matters. Local barista legends, coffee with a window seat, community.

A few people told me I needed to get on the Hobart Reddit thread to ask about the best coffee spots so here I am - hello! 👋

I'm still adding to my collection - what spots need to be drawn?
