How do I play on Linux?

I am severely uneducated in computers and Linux and I payed for the game. I downloaded it on my windows pc, and it ran terribly, it’s a bad pc. So I wanted to play it on my steam deck, a Linux based pc. I’ve downloaded it and I’ve extracted the file but when double clicking the standard file, nothing happens. I have no clue what to do and want to play the game I payed for.

Found these, what to do next?

I found these lot on the Jurassic Coast, UK and have no clue what to do next. I’m camping and want to take them home but they’re very fragile and break easily (crumbly, flakey, cracking). I’m very new to fossils and believe I need a type of glue to preserve them, what glue should I use (if any) and what to do next?
