Current Collection

Finally bought a new Kindle (Paperwhite 12th gen signatuere) after having used the Oasis for 7 years. Got a Xteink X3 as well. Currently also trying out the Remarkable Paper Pro Move, it's not great as an e-reader I might just keep it as a journal.

I don't know what to do with my old Oasis. I have too many ereaders right now, but I don't feel ready to part with it either.

Where to buy Kanken no 2 mini in the Netherlands

I am looking for a Kanken no:2 mini that is not black. Grey, olive green etc are fine. They only seem to sell the black one. Does anyone know where I would be able to find those colors in the Netherlands?

X3 finally came in. Ordered the wrong color.

All this time I thought I was waiting for a white X3 and it turns out I've ordered black. I am so disappointed I really liked the white one. Because I will be traveling soon, I don't have time to send this one back.

I don't even know why I am sharing here. I guess I want someone to convince me that black is also fine or something? Maybe there are good things about the black version?

Does XTEink X3 have auto rotation

I'm thinking about buying an Xteink and couldn't really choose between the X4 and X3. I have a Kindle e-reader so, I want something small to go with it. As far as I understand X4 has no gyroscope and thus no autorotation.

My question about the X3 is, can you select autorotation but only for landscape mode?

Is Remarkable 2 a good buy in 2026?

I found a second hand Remarkable 2 with keyboard for 240 euros. Is it worth it in 2026? And if it is a good deal, what would I be missing out on compared to newer models? (except for color screen)

E-ink device that can be used with a keyboard.

What I really wanted is a Remarkable Paper Pro, but it is too expensive. Can you recommend something that can be used with a keyboard, that is much cheaper but without losing too much on build quality and just quality in general?

I found an unopened Kobo Libra 2

I found a Kobo Libra 2 sealed in box + case on a online marketplace for 100 euro. How good is this deal?

Should I buy it even though I wasn't planning on buying this one? I am worried about battery life.

Has anyone used a magsafe grip on an e-reader?

I mean the one that enables you to use the grip as camera buttons. Obviously I am not expecting the camera buttons to work, my question is purely for ergonomic purposes.

Anyone using the Remarkable Move as an e-reader?

I really like the size and quality of the move. But I will be using the device mostly as an e-reader. Does anyone have a good experience with it?

Also, has anyone successfully added in an English dictionary to use while reading. And if so, how?

Please help me find a suitable e-reader

I have watched HOURS worth of content now, reviews, comparisons etc, but I still can't make a decision.

I have been using the Kindle Oasis for about 7 years now. The battery performance has dropped and I'd like to buy something new that's NOT Kindle. (Unless Kindle has devices that support EPUB and other formats.) I don't want to be tied to MOBI anymore.

Here are the other specs that I find really important:

- Warm light

- Page turn buttons

- Good working English dictionary

- Some sort of water protection

Bonus points for (but not necessary):

- Android system

- Speaker

More info:

I mostly sideload.

I have contemplated buying the BOOX Palma 2 but I'm too worried that I'll regret it, since the screen is so narrow.

I am thinking about the Pocketbook Era, but I would like something that is not that slow.

I don't like the cheap look and therefore feel of kobo libra, but if it's really worth it still, according to you, please explain why.

Also: Color is not important to me. It's OK, but black&white is also fine.
