Is anyone else noticing NEPSE consistently drops after 2–3 PM lately?
I’ve been closely tracking the NEPSE index over the past 1–2 months, and I’ve noticed a repeating pattern. On many trading days (not every day, but quite frequently), the market tends to fall sharply between 2 PM and 3 PM, especially near the closing period.
Has anyone else observed this? What could be the reason behind this late-session selling pressure?
Is it due to profit booking, or something related to settlement or liquidity at the end of the day?
Would like to hear your thoughts.
