Empreendimento O’living nos olivais

Alguém comprou casa neste empreendimento? Gostaria de obter feedback sobre o mesmo e sobre a zona, visto que tem apartamentos novos com preços um pouco mais baixos comparativamente a outras zonas da cidade.
Obrigado

Planning Rovaniemi with a 4-year-old – looking for advice on itinerary, hotels & Northern Lights

Hi everyone!
We’re planning a family trip to Rovaniemi with our 4-year-old son, sometime between 28 November and 8 December, and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have been there, especially with young children.
The trip is mainly about giving our son a magical Christmas/Lapland experience, but seeing the Northern Lights is also something I would absolutely love to do, so I’d like to plan the trip in a way that gives us a good chance of seeing them.

I’d love your advice on:
How many nights would you recommend?
Where would you stay with a 4-year-old?
Which activities are really worth doing at that age?
Would you stay in Rovaniemi itself or somewhere outside the city?
Is renting a car useful, or can we manage with transfers/taxis?
For the Northern Lights, would you recommend booking a tour, staying somewhere away from the city lights, or trying to see them independently?
Is late November/early December a good time, or would you choose particular dates within that windows?

Basically, if you were planning a first trip to Lapland with a 4-year-old, recommendations, as well as things you think are overrated or not worth the money, would be very welcome.
Thank you!

Boat tickets for island hopping and advice on skippered boat rental in Milos

Hi everyone,

We’re planning an island-hopping trip in Greece and I’d love some advice:
First, how far in advance would you recommend buying ferry/boat tickets between islands? Is it usually fine to book closer to the date, or should we secure them weeks/months in advance, especially in high season?

Also, we’ll be staying in Milos and would love to rent a boat for a day to explore the island from the sea, especially places like Kleftiko and some of the beaches that are harder to reach by land. We don’t have a boat licence, so we’d need a boat with a skipper/captain.
Ideally, we’d like something that actually stops at beaches and swimming spots, rather than just sailing past them, as we’d love to swim and spend some time there.

Do you have any recommendations for reliable boat rental companies in Milos that offer skippered private or semi-private tours? Also, what would be a reasonable price range for this, so we know what is fair and avoid being overcharged?
Any tips or personal experiences would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

First time in Greece - help/tips on itinerary and general must knows. 12 nights

Hi everyone!

I’m planning my first trip to Greece this summer and would love some help with the itinerary.

I’ll be flying into Athens on 21 July at night and flying back home from Athens on 2 August in the late afternoon/evening, so I have around 12 nights in total. Since it’s my first time in Greece, Santorini feels like a must for me, but I’m trying to decide which other islands would make sense to combine with it.

The islands I’ve been looking at and would love to visit are:

- Santorini
- Milos
- Amorgos
- Mykonos
- Naxos
- Koufonisia

I know I probably can’t do all of them without rushing too much, so I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has done a similar route.

Which islands would you recommend combining for a first trip?
How many nights would you spend on each island?
Would you prioritise Milos/Naxos/Koufonisia over Mykonos, or is Mykonos still worth it?
Also, any tips about ferries, order of islands, or things to avoid in late July would be very welcome.

We’re looking for a mix of beautiful beaches, charming towns, good food, relaxed atmosphere, and some iconic Greek island views. Santorini is the only island I feel is non-negotiable, but I’m flexible with the rest.

Thank you so much!
