Hi everyone. I am feeling so upset and exhausted. Have any of you ever given up on a garden?

I am located in Southeast Michigan, close to Detroit.

I suffer from several health problems that limit my ability to maintain the garden that came with my home. I inherited an awful thistle, non-native mullberry, and horseweed invasion. I have been struggling with it for 2 years now, and I don't make any progress. I even paid hundreds for a landscaper to come weed, only for it all to come right back in less than a week.

I hate going outside to see it now. I dread how my neighbors must think of me. I am so depressed and disappointed in myself and how I cannot maintain my yard.

I desperately want a colorful garden with native plants but I cant even maintain the weeds!

Any recommendations?
