French fling - Most rs coded woman I ever hooked up with. Liked museums and small theatre performances in French bars. Exclusively a top. Would put Miley Cyrus & her dead Petz on while banging me. Looked a lot like the main actress from Orphan Black. Emotionally withdrawn but I was a low functioning alcoholic so honestly can't blame her. I think she would have been hotter if she smoked to be honest.

Northern Irish ex - roughly 20+ older than me, but looked considerably older. AA disciple, who had the Serenity prayer tattooed on her. I thought she could help me get sober, and bless her she tried. Had a perverse interest in our age gap. Makes me feel a bit grotty thinking back to that time, but I still wish her the best.

Artist ex - 6ft1, beautiful dark eyes. Had painted portraits of me a couple of times. Still in touch but we have both moved on. Top with big hands. Would take me to art galleries and hold my bag when my back started playing up. Ditched me in York one time which to this day I'm still pissed about.

Messy diva - SHE WAS SO PRETTY OH MY GODDDDD. Super high maintenance, and well presented, but a drunken mess of a person. Bisexual who still lived with her ex boyfriend. We only kissed once, which she resented. Wanted me to meet her family. Hoped we could be friends but didn't work out. Lana del Rey Stan.

In no particular order

Scottish fling - Messy bisexual, vibrant blue eyes and dark hair, used to be obsessed with Friends and would put it on in the background. Lots of personal tragedy before and after we hooked up. From a small Scottish town in the north, who somehow found herself in the south. A top. I think of her sometimes and wonder how she is, and I regret not being a better friend to her.

Scientist fling - Ginger and handsome. Very well educated and culturally aware, despite coming from the same crummy country town as me. Didn't like when I brought this fact up. Egotistical. Probably would have been a nightmare if we continued seeing each other. First red head I was intimate with since being sexually assaulted by a red head and developing a trigger for that characteristic. Power lesbian. Left me for a very attractive Greek woman. Can't really blame her. A switch.

Blonde ex - Wonderful woman who I wish I could still be friends with. Blonde and dark brown eyes. From Wolverhampton. Covered in tattoos from Alice in Wonderland. Never worked a day in her life which was pretty off-putting, but otherwise she was a dream. Made me feel very safe. A switch.

Ex? Fling? Enemy? - Probably one of the most transformative relationships I've ever had. Was part of a 3sum that became emotionally catastrophic. Not a great person but I loved her regardless. Also a switch/bottom but we made it work. Relapsed with her so realistically can never be around her again. Very pretty but very insecure. Will probably haunt me forever for not being the person I so desperately wanted her to be.
