I’ve been using Wix for a while, but it’s starting to feel a bit heavy and slow for what I actually need. Even small edits feel more complicated than they should, and the pricing also feels a bit high for basic use.

I’m looking for something simpler and more lightweight, ideally a website builder that’s easy to use and doesn’t feel overwhelming.

The main thing I need is built-in lead capture forms so I can collect submissions directly on the site without having to set up a bunch of external tools.

If it also has drag-and-drop editing or some kind of AI-assisted site setup, that would be a bonus, but the priority is ease of use and cost.

Has anyone found a good alternative to Wix that works well for simple sites and lead generation?
