Perioral dermatitis

Perioral dermatitis

Was told at the start of this year that I have perioral dermatitis and not acne, which is all new to me. In my mid 20s and dealt with this skin issue for yearssssss, anything I do doesn’t help it. I’ve even spent a ridiculous amount of money on laser treatments, for me to currently look like this. Please anyone that’s had the same skin issue, what did you do to finally get rid of it? Will I ever be rid of this for good???? Any tips will be much appreciated!

NYC LCC’s

I am a return au pair, having completed the programme from 2022-2024. I am with Cultural Care and have a dream to live in NYC. When I previously completed the programme I picked the family over location, as this is what the recommended. As someone born and raised in London the suburban life was not for me, and felt very isolating and not diverse, at times. However, now after visiting 31 states in my time I really fell in love with NYC and would love a once in a lifetime chance to live there for a year and au pair with an amazing family. Nobody with Cultural Care is helping me to connect with NYC families, which is very frustrating, especially as I’m a return au pair and hold childcare qualifications. Is anybody able to help on my search for a matching specialist or LCC, that focusses on the NYC area. Thank you!!

Au pair in NYC or NJ??

I’m a return au pair with a big big dream for years of living in NYC. I have a family living on the upper east side who want me, they have a baby (7 months when I arrive) and a 5 year old. My hours would be 9-5, 5 days a week, with slight flexibility. Of course due to them living in the city I would have to share a bathroom with the kids, they are willing to pay $300 a week, however I’ve not discussed any other perks. Whereas, I have a family in South Orange, NJ, who I would only need to work 7-9am and 3:30-5pm (less than 5hrs a day) for, 5 days a week, $300, access to car and all gas paid for, plus a Pilates membership to solidcore, and own bathroom. Both families are amazingggggg and I could see myself with either, which makes the decision even harder. I know whatever decision I do make in the end I’ll be so so lucky either way.

I enjoy thrifting, running, Pilates, and really love to take trips around the states. My previous au pair years I travelled to 31 states. I also love trying new foods, getting dressed up and going out, brunches, and bars with a pool table.

Based on the two options which would be better?? Do I follow this dream I have had for years of living in NYC, or live close enough to visit on weekends and in the day while kids are at school. If anyone around South Orange NJ can also help, is it a good area for a woman in her mid 20s, who enjoys getting fit but also enjoys getting dressed up and going out.

Any opinions are appreciated!!! Thankssss
