I’m really enjoying Cynthia in her matriarch role. Honestly, she’s the last OG I would have ever imagined stepping up to that role. I was never a fan of her being the people pleaser who was constantly kissing Nene’s 🍑 in her first several seasons and the concerted effort she made to be a mean girl on seasons 7 and 8. I feel like we’re finally getting the real Cynthia, who’s laid back, wise, caring, nurturing, but still not afraid to check someone when needed.
I know she’s been discussed relentlessly lately, so I’m sorry to add to it. But K Michelle is one of the worst casting decisions imo. I remember when a lot of her LHH fans were on here ( and still are) arguing that she was going to save the show. Some are still claiming that she’s giving us great tv only we’re not smart enough to see it just yet. Not sure what I’m missing, but I see someone who’s deeply insecure and paranoid. She’s being treated with little kid gloves and has literally had the smoothest time on RHOA compared to any other newbie during their first season— yet, she feels so unsafe? Girl, where is your mental or physical safety being threatened and by whom? That’s a rhetorical question. IMO, she’s got such a deep-seated fear and animosity towards women that she doesn’t know how to interact unless she can physically fight, slap, kick, or throw objects. I do believe that she genuinely wants to be better and is probably embarrassed by her past behavior, but she’s still that same angry, reactionary woman. The only difference is that she’s taking it out on twitter every single week, and that doesn’t make for great tv. No one asked for a twitter warrior crash out. She really doesn’t seem to enjoy being on the show, and I’m not sure why she wanted to join in the first place. Go enjoy your country music career, girl, and be happy.

The last time I saw a good reading sesh, like this, was between Nene and Claudia in Puerto-read-co. The “Not with the way your teeth co-mingle—you got those Incestuous teeth” line took me all the way out. 😆 😂 😭 😭
Did anyone else ever hear of Amiyah Scott being cast as an RHOA housewife for season 8, along with Kim Fields? She filmed but dropped out before the season wrapped because she felt the producers were pressuring her to overly sexualize herself— and ultimately, she didn’t feel like her being on the show was a good representation of the transgender community. As a result, all footage of her was scrapped from the season. What are your thoughts? Do you all think she would have been a good addition to the cast?
