Hello everyone i applied for restoration and pgwp application together because I already passed the 90 days limit before applying, today i received a $100 payment from ircc. My file is still pending as I'm yet to get any messages from ircc or refusal, anyone know what this mean?
I was going through a really difficult time in my life and felt like I needed a fresh start. I ended up taking about six payday loans and haven’t been in contact with the lenders for the past three months. The loans were around $300 from iCash, $500 from Money Mart, $300 from Starpay, and a few others in Quebec with very high interest rates.
I used the money to get back on my feet, and things have started improving. I’ve even managed to save a little money in my TFSA over the last couple of months.
Since then, the lenders have been constantly calling and emailing me. I’m worried and have a few questions. Could I be arrested for not paying these loans? Some of the Quebec lenders have sent messages that I find very threatening, and one even threatened my mom. That has made me nervous.
I do plan to pay the loans back, but I can’t do it right now. Should I be worried that they might actually try to hurt me?
