My family just moved to Carrollton in April. Everything has been great except the noise problem that makes us uncomfortable. We live in a neighborhood near the high school. On a daily basis we hear an explosive loud car firing up and driving away. This neighbor lives two blocks away from us. We suspect he might have removed his mufflers. We checked the code of ordinance and car exhaust can be one of the noise violations. Does anyone have suggestions on how to deal with this? Would reporting to the police be anonymous? We are afraid of retaliation but the noise is very distressing.

Hi, I just moved to Carrollton two months ago. While currently working in a private company as a lab analyst, I also have a wastewater operator license. I am curious if anyone here is working in the city water or wastewater plant. I kind of want to continue my career in the field of water and wastewater.
