So you guys have heard of CDS right cat distribution system well, what if it actually means chicken distribution system? I just found this chicken walking up the street in my neighborhood, a suburb neighborhood of a city, mind you: I cornered him with another kind stranger and grabbed it. And it’s a sweetest little chicken, you guys. Let’s meet pet his head. Let’s me hold him without screaming.
I am currently on my way to the pet store to get it a few things and plan to schedule a appointment in the morning. They’re all closed today. Except for emergencies and it appears healthy overall all. So I’m just gonna try and make it comfortable for now.
I have been doing some research for the last few months because we do want to start homesteading soon, but we’re just before a cross country move and we weren’t quite there yet, but it seems the universe wants me to start now. He is the cutest little thing you guys. I am not arguing with this universe.
Any tips, first time chicken owner’s advice or name suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Help me out with my new best friend!!
I saved these from being thrown away because it’s so much knowledge and I am unable to find good homes for them before we move. Where can I donate these that may help a teacher in need in the future versus just giving these to a thrift store? I can see giving the thrift store a couple copies, but there are multiple copies of each title. I’d really love it to be able to go to a teacher.
UPDATE: All Night Shift copies went to a horror instructor. The rest of the titles are going to be dispersed into Little Free Libraries as I mentioned in a comment. Ad Hoc seems to be pretty popular. If you run into this in your local Little Free Library, please be kind and return it for your neighbors to enjoy as well. Take photos of the recipes and share the joy with others. This was always my intention when I saved them. To spread the wealth of knowledge and in turn, yummy food.
