ID4 trade in incentives ‘23 → ‘26?

Can I get a gut check on this trade in deal? Seems like a decent amount of dealership incentives, but I guess maybe rates on a new loan would be astronomical?

Synced Household Accounts & Recurring activity questions

Hell! I have a couple questions (and requests) about best practices for managing Spinwheel synced accounts and also how to manage recurring transactions.

  1. Both my partner and I are added to the household and the Spinwheel sync pulls duplicate "Credit Report Accounts," which makes sense, since they're listed individually on our credit reports. Currently, I have one partner's "Credit Report Account" linked to our single connected Monarch Account and for the duplicate partner's "Credit Report Account" entry, I have "Ignore this account" selected. Is this the correct way to managed these duplicates?
  2. In recurring payments, the "Credit Report Account" (now linked to my connected Monarch Account) is identified as a recurring merchant, but the system has also identified the actual transaction from my bank account as a recurring payment. e.g. for our mortgage, the mortgage account is pulled in automatically, but there is also a recurring payment from our checking account to "Mortgage Account Merchant" that has been identified as recurring. Is it best practice to use the Credit/Monarch account or the recurring transaction itself as the entry point for the Recurring activity?
  3. I understand from other posts that you can't enter a range or approximate (≈) an anticipated monthly recurring payment (e.g. utilities), but i haven't used the software long enough to know how much of an issue this will end up being.
  4. How do others anticipate cash flow based on upcoming recurring expenses and current cash on hand? It would be nice if the recurring section somehow gave an indication of whether or not you need to move money into your Default Payment Account listed for the expense.

Sorry for the wall of questions. Thanks in advance!

ETA: It also looks like Plaid will pull in business cards when you link to a bank account and can sync them like regular credit cards, but they can't be added as recurring accounts? You can add a recurring transaction, but then you miss all the functionality of the account sync showing credit card information (balance, minimum, etc.). Unless i'm just missing a piece of functionality...

Yard & Brush Pickup Alternatives

The city recently published fall yard waste pickup dates - I’m more excited about this than I care to admit. Unfortunately, we have quite a bit of yard waste that I’d love to not have sitting around for another two months. At this point, I’ve maxed out mulching with my mower (my small lawn can’t handle any more) and my gardens have become nearly impassable with the leaf and stick buildup. I know I could rent a truck, but don’t have a whole afternoon to set aside for this kind of project. In the past I’ve tried just piling it up and waiting for fall, but it makes our yard unusable.

For those of us without a car/truck to accommodate hauling to the drop off sites, what other options do people employ for managing their yard waste during the “in between times?” Are there third party/landscaping groups that people have used? Prior to moving here, our previous city had yard waste pickup year round…I guess we were just spoiled.
