Hello,

I would appreciate your input. Currently I reside in Germany, where I am on a work trip. As I was driving my Ford Mondeo, manual transmission, 2015 2.0TDCI, cruising at 190km/h all of a sudden, an icon of a spanner popped up with a message “see the manual” and soon as it happened, as if my engine switched off and I started losing speed, pressing gas pedal provided no response.

I checked what I could, there is no leakage, nothing torn off, checked the turbo everything what I could and I didn’t see anything wrong. There were no sounds when it happened, the engine wasn’t vibrating, or nothing, all of a sudden I simply started losing speed until I came to standstill.

The engine doesn’t start now and I have no idea what I should expect.

ich wäre euch sehr dankbar, wenn ihr mir weiterhelfen könntet. Mein Auto ist auf der Autobahn liegen geblieben und wurde nach Oldenburg abgeschleppt, wo ich mich derzeit wegen einer Dienstreise befinde.

Kann mir jemand einen guten Kfz-Mechaniker in Oldenburg empfehlen? Kein offizieller Ford-Service, sondern jemanden, der wirklich kompetent ist. Ich möchte nicht unbedingt ein Vermögen für dieselbe Reparatur bezahlen und habe ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung, wo ich suchen soll. Falls ihr jemanden empfehlen könntet, würde ich das wirklich sehr schätzen! Ich fahre einen Ford Mondeo, falls das hilfreich ist.
