I drew this for my daughter in honor of her late dog, Betty. Rest in peace, Betty. You’re a Cosmonaut now.
A good way to end the Summer. A new group of ATCs.
“Saltine.” Bic pens on ATC. Finished today. I truly love the ATC format. My original art. And cracker, which I later ate.
I was stationed in at Submarine Group 7 in Yokosuka, Japan in 1990, but I lived in Yokohama with my wife and daughters. The happy day I went to one of the big music stores in Yokohama is forever engraved into my memory. Looking through the CD stacks I found a miracle; I walked home that day with the Amarok CD. What a pleasure! What a mad return to form for Mike. Delightful! It made me very…”happy?” I am a sincere longtime fan and listener of Mr. Oldfield’s music since the 1970s.
I was a submarine Radioman in those days, so I copied the CW (Morse code) on the first listen, laughing heartily. As a fan I knew right away who “RB” was. Now for my problem.
I really want to own a CD of the LP remix of Amarok. Failing that, I just really want to listen to it. Just once! I can’t find the remix on Youtube or Itunes. Where/how can I listen to this remix? Help me, good people. You’re my only hope.
Thank you. Sincerely, Albert.
P.S. Here’s a page from one of my old sketchbooks. I hope it gives you a smile.
I draw on prepared paper using .999 pure silver. There is no graphite, charcoal, or other pencil work in the drawing. Just silver.
