Picked up this lot from a dude in Texas (clearly). Some cool stuff and new colors for me from classic brands. At first glance I was very confused by the “yellow” Shiner Holiday in the bottom right as I’ve never seen a yellow one before….but when I actually picked it up it’s clear it’s just a veryyyy light and maybe chemically exposed cap 😂
Has anyone else been fooled by an altered cap before??

My buddy’s granddad was a casual collector and just threw caps into old rusty coffee cans in his garage over the years. He gifted me a coffee can’s worth. I already pulled the ones I needed so these are available for trade or someone can have for free if they pay the shipping. Nothing too crazy in there but def some good foundational ones for those getting into the hobby.
Exceptional. Mildly tart with moderate level of acid. The fruit shines without stealing from the base beer characteristics. Perfect summer porch quencher.
I view de Garde as one of, if not the, best American producers of spontaneously fermented beers (especially fruited). What are some of the other great ones? Here in Pennsylvania I like Fermentery Form and the Referend Blendery.
I live in PA but travel to central-ish NJ for work once a week. Was wondering if there are any hidden gem bottle shops or beer stores that have local craft available. Special points if they offer singles or mix-and-match. I know there is a Wegmans right there on 202, but anything more thoughtfully curated would be nice. I also drive through Titusville if there is something there. Thanks and cheers!
