F. Elastica side branching

F. Elastica side branching

Hi all -

It's finally warm enough to put my f. Elastica outside and try the "side branching by laying down" experiment.

Is... this this literally all I do?

It's under some spruce trees to provide morning sun but protection from direct afternoon light (this usually lives in my bedroom so very indirect window light with grow light supplement is what it's used to)

If this worked for you, how long did you leave it on it's side before you saw that it was working?

Thanks!

Based layer for mature wedding makeup

Hi all - I'm in a wedding coming up and in order to help defray costs I am doing the makeup on the bride and the other bridesmaids.

I have some experience with runway/photo makeup in a past life and so I'm pretty confident with that.

However, that is usually on lovely young skin and this wedding party is more mature. None of us are everyday makeup wearers, so no one wanted that airbrush, photoshop in real life look. But I know just from my own skin that now there are creases and wrinkles and I can't wear foundation anymore because it just settles and looks TERRIBLE.

So what are the best options out there for an overall base layer? Skin tint? Tinted moisturizer? Cc cream? Something else I don't even know about?

Again, not looking for thick, mask like coverage. But something that brightens complexion and blends any redness or spots (or at least tones them down) to help make everyone look more polished would be perfect.

I appreciate any advice!
