Langjährige Identifikationsfigur kommt noch on top.

SL-INF vs TL Wireless for a clean black/white build... what would you choose?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently trying to decide whether I should keep my current Lian Li UNI FAN TL Wireless setup or return the fans after only one day and rebuild the system with UNI FAN SL-INF fans instead.

The goal of the build is not a crazy RGB setup. I’m not really an RGB nerd. I’m going for a clean black/white monochrome build with a more premium and subtle look.

Right now I’m using TL Wireless fans, which give the build more of a clean outline/frame lighting look. I actually like that a lot, because it keeps everything more subtle and less “overlit.”

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use the GPU Strimer the way I wanted. It didn’t fit underneath the motherboard straight to the GPU like the normal GPU cable does right now. I could probably route it from the top of the case down to the GPU, but I’m not sure that would look clean. I would have absolutely loved to use the GPU Strimer, and honestly, that would probably make the decision easier for me: TL Wireless fans + GPU Strimer might be the perfect balance. But GPU Strimer + SL-INF fans might be too much.

At the same time, I’m considering SL-INF fans because they have the brighter fan blade / center hub lighting and probably look more impressive at first glance.

My concern is that SL-INF might be too much for this kind of build and could make it look more like a full RGB showcase build instead of a clean black/white setup.

The attached comparison images/mockups are AI-generated, and this post text was also cleaned up with AI, just to explain the situation better.

So my question is:

Which version do you think looks cleaner and fits the black/white theme better?
Would you keep the TL Wireless fans for the cleaner outline look, or would you return them and rebuild everything with SL-INF fans?

The annoying part is that switching now would mean sending back the current fans after just one day and rebuilding the setup again, including the radiator fans.

What would you do in my situation? I’m honestly torn between both fan versions, and I’m getting very mixed opinions from friends and family — pretty much 50/50.
