I like how in Ep. 3 of Season 3 we get a tiny glimpse into where the team members came from
I was kinda curious where the members of the team were from before they joined this team. We all know Cruz was a Marine. But in the meeting room I can’t remember if it was Randy or Tex, I always mix those two up, was coming up with an analogy and used the Green Berets in it and Two Cups snapped back at them. So Two Cups was probably a Green Beret before. Two Cups immediately fired back with “why not Seals?” then Randy or Tex one of them got mad so they were probably a Seal etc etc. then they say Marines and Cruz responds. idk just cool little things I thought were interesting.

Is the trade system broken this year?
Context: I am the Cubs. Assad was 76 at RP and would be in AAA/AA for me until he retires. I had 14 SPs and 15 are required on the roster. Saw he had decent stamina so I changed his position. Turns out he’s way better at SP. My rotation is already established so he would just waste away in AAA so thought to move him to a team that needs a SP. I’ve tried 20+ trades, all rejected. Got to a point I didn’t care who I got back just wanted him somewhere he’d play. The White Sox have SP as a team need. Cornwell is 32 years old. Assad would be their third best overall SP yet this does not align with their needs??
