Why did spanish navy made a first rate ship for pirate hunting in POTC 5?
Like i don't feel it right for dedicating a heavily armed galleon with over 100 cannons which was insane at that time for pirate hunting. Like from the flashback scene itself we saw that it was a floating fortress. They also gave heavily trained and armed navy soldiers/officers as the crew for the ship. They gave a very ruthless, powerful and reputed captain just for pirate hunting. I mean it doesn't make sense. That thing literally battled and sunk 10+ pirates ship at the same time. Sending one of the best ships in the navy to hunt pirates? Nah hell nah
