Just finished Week 4 of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself – feeling completely overwhelmed by emotions. Has anyone experienced this?
Today was my last day of Week 4 of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza, and honestly, I don’t even know how to describe what I’m feeling right now.
These past four weeks have been an incredible journey. I’ve uncovered so many deep-rooted subconscious patterns, fears, and beliefs that I wasn’t even fully aware of. I’ve noticed so many positive changes in myself. I’m generally much calmer, more aware of my thoughts and reactions, and somehow I feel more like myself than I have in a very long time.
But along with all these positive changes came A LOT of emotions.
Especially right now, I feel completely overwhelmed by something I can’t even identify. There’s this intense sensation around my heart, almost like a cold, wet, pulling or tingling feeling. It’s really difficult to describe. It feels like something emotional is coming to the surface, but I have absolutely no idea what it is.
And the strange thing is, I can’t seem to just sit with it or allow it to be there. It feels too intense, almost like it’s more than my conscious mind can process or hold at the moment.
I’ve experienced some pretty intense emotional releases during these four weeks, but this feels different. I don’t even know what emotion I’m experiencing anymore.
I genuinely feel that these four weeks have changed something in me, and I’m really grateful for that. I feel more connected to myself, more peaceful in many ways, and more aware of the patterns I’ve been carrying around for years.
But right now, the emotional intensity is honestly a lot.
Has anyone experienced something similar during or after Week 4? Especially this overwhelming feeling around the heart, where emotions seem to come up without you even knowing what they are?
I’d really love to hear about your experiences and how you dealt with moments when the emotions felt too intense to simply observe or sit with. ❤️
