I found this at a thrift store and was curious cause id never really seen anything like it before!

What breed of cat does he look like?
This is my ( 25 yr old male ) orange boy sunny and I have my theories that he might be a Maine coon mix ? His fur is double layered [ i don't know if that's the right term] and sheds A LOT even with constant combing of his fur [ me and my roommate can't afford to get him a haircut its to expensive and my roommate is on the older side ]
Any ideas?
