I know a person from online groups whose husband is a football coach at a TX High school. She often talks (during FB season) about being a coach’s wife, the life of a coach’s wife, posts memes about how tough/rewarding etc it is to be a coach’s wife, knows all the other wives etc.

I know FB is huge in TX, but where I am (CA) there is obviously football, and there are football coaches, but it’s not like a whole lifestyle, like nobody would know who his wife was or anything?

Can someone explain why being a coach’s wife is a big deal?

I have had my kobo for a year now, no particular issues. Have used exclusively with Libby. Just checked out a book today and no matter how many times I synch it won’t download to the kobo (kobo Clara). Any tips? I’m feeling even more doomed with SCOTUS basically saying all these southern states can redraw whatever districts they want while overthrowing VA’s districts that were voted on. With all these states going pure red, more than usual, can Democrats really turn over enough seats to make a difference?

I am wondering what my risk is for a pre scheduled ride getting cancelled or not having a driver pick it up? I have to get from a college town the day after a graduation to a smaller airport, not the closest one, and so I have scheduled an uber ahead and it’s way cheaper than ordering a car service but I’m worried drivers won’t want to take the opportunity…bc then Im screwed and will miss my flight. How does it typically work with pre-scheduled rides? (I’m an anxious traveler so worrying about this and if I should just book a car service for 3x as much)
