So my internet stopped working yesterday and i couldn’t figure out a solution all day i thought that maybe the cable was broken because when i troubleshoot it says “ethernet doesn’t have a valid ip configuration” and “ethernet cable is not properly plugged in or might be broken”.

I just bought a new ethernet cable and plugged it in, it still doesn’t work. I connected the new cable to a network extender that uses ethernet to see if the new cable works and it does. The network keeps saying it is identifying network then connected then not connected and keeps switching like it cant stay connected.

Is this an issue with my motherboard? And is there any way to test if it is so i can get it replaced.
