I’ve had my bnr for a few months now and while I was tuning I was getting as high as 24psi and holding 22-23 consistently but recently I’ve been struggling to even hold 21 (normally 20.5 ish for most of the pull). My first thought was because it’s getting hotter outside but I don’t know if that’s enough to lose that much boost. Have yall been experiencing the same with the raising heat or should I start looking for boost leaks?
I just installed and went through the tuning process on my bnr67 with a 18psi wastegate,but i noticed when the duty cycle was zeroed out it was only making about 14.5psi instead of the 18 it should be making on spring pressure. My tuner said the wastegate is stopping me from getting to my 360whp goal and he estimates it around 340-350. He said all the bnr turbos he’s tuning at the moment have been very inconsistent. Do yall think they could’ve sent me a 15psi wastegate instead of the 18psi one and has anyone else experienced something similar?
I installed a bnr67 on my car over the weekend and when I went to start it it was pissing oil super bad. I’m hoping that it’s just a loose feed/return line but I was wondering if yall think I might’ve destroyed the turbo seals? I had the car started a running for probably 3-5 mins until I realized it after giving it a couple revs. Is that enough to have killed the turbo or should it still be fine when I find the issue and get it fixed?
Hey everyone, I’m installing a bnr67 this weekend and have to weld the flange for the bov onto the charge pipe. My only concern is with the cold side the fitment is super tight and I’m worried about not clocking it correctly and being screwed. I believe I have it marked out super close to the pre made exhale kits but still worries me. My question to yall is what is the diff between putting it on the cold side pipe vs the hot side pipe? I know you’re supposed to do it on the cold side but it would be a lot easier fitment wise to do the hot side so I’m just wondering what I’d be losing if I went the hot side route?
I am about to install a bnr67 and to go with it I got a tail bov for it, it currently has a 10psi spring in it and was wondering to see if that is okay for this car or if I need to get a stiffer spring before installing
