New Rider - First Bike

Hey Everyone - first off I want to give some context and ask your advice.

I’m going to be new to cycling, and have aspirations of doing triathlon, potentially a 70.3 at some point in the next 18 months.

I’m looking for a do it all road bike, not entry level but not overspending. 99% of the time it will be used for training, enjoyment, group rides, etc.

I currently have the bike in the attached photo(not exact bike but same sku) reserved to be fit this Tuesday. It’s a Madone SL6 105Di2

Is this more than enough to start? Too much? Not enough? I’m all for buy once cry once. I can afford something more expensive but don’t want to waste money just for the sake of wasting money.

Appreciate any feedback you can provide

Noctua 🤝 Be Quiet

Swapped out all my case fans for the new Chromax NF-A12x25 G2s. Absolutely in love with these beauties and couldn't be happier with the performance and noise levels.

I really wanted to pair them with an NH-D15 G2, but unfortunately, it wouldn't clear my case and memory combo. I'll just have to save that upgrade for the next iteration of the build! However, I am more than pleased with the Dark Rock Pro 6! Its a beast!

Let me know what you guys think!

2nd Attempt: Cable management overhaul after switching to air cooling.

I recently swapped out my AIO for an air cooler. I wouldn't say I had to redo the cables because of it, but it gave me the perfect excuse to tear things down and try a different approach.

My first layout was already really solid, so this isn't necessarily "better," just a different strategy. This time around, I went with velcro instead of zip ties.

I think the new layout is about 95% of the way there. For the perfectionists in the sub—where do you think I could tighten things up or improve on that last 5%?
