Talking to Yourself for 4 Hours Is Way More Exhausting Than I Expected

Nobody really talks about how weird streaming can feel when nobody is talking back.

You can be live for three or four hours, constantly trying to comment on what you’re doing, reacting to the game, making jokes, filling every silence… and by the end you’re completely drained. Not because the game was exhausting, but because you’ve basically been having a one-sided conversation for hours.

I noticed that my energy changes a lot when the room feels active. I’m more likely to joke around, talk naturally and actually enjoy myself instead of constantly thinking, “Is anyone even watching this?”

Does anyone else find streaming to an empty chat more exhausting than actually playing the game?
