My very first attempt at wire wrapping

My very first attempt at wire wrapping

Is it perfect? No.

But is it almost perfect? Also no.

But is it pretty okay for my very first try and a random rock from the garden? Yeah, I think so!

My end goal isn't necessarily to learn to make jewelry, but I really just wanted to get a feel for what it's like to work with the wire, so I found a round-ish rock and followed a YouTube tutorial by Zurick Designs Jewelry and Art, and I just gave it a whirl!

I definitely learned a lot from this quick little project and I already have ideas about how I can improve moving forward. I'm really determined to get great at this, and I am so excited. I've been in a creative rut for awhile now and this is the first time in a number of years that I finally feel the excitement of that creative energy buzzing again.

I'm so inspired by the beautiful work I've seen on this subreddit and I can't wait to see what happens next!
