Wire Wrapped charm bracelet I made
Stainless steel, dyed quartz and glass crystals

Stainless steel, dyed quartz and glass crystals
I started wire wrapping a couple weeks ago and I've just been getting my wire & supplies from Michael's to start. I'm looking to advance my techniques, but it typically calls for different styles of wire.
What are some things I should watch out for and know about different kinds of wire?
Where are some places to source it at an affordable cost *(preferably in Canada)*?
What are some tips, tricks, & things you wish you knew when you first started wire wrapping?
Thanks everyone,
If you're into wire wrapped jewelry. Check out my shows. I wrap all kinds of things. Gemstones, tourmaline, glass, epoxy resin, crystals and all kinds of cool stuff.
I do customs as well.
Feel free to give me feedback about my art.

Hey there im trying to make more of these wraps, does anyone know what to look up for these cut styles of amethyst so I can get some more?
Hi everyone I'm new here and I want to show you some spider themed pendants.
What do you all think about this creation?
What do we think about the designs? Should I continue with these minimal ones or the bigger ones like the last? All are handmade wire jewellery pieces with real crystals and gems.
Just wanted to show off this butterfly pendant made, it's a little wonky but I'm still happy with it. The center stone is Australian opal and it has amethyst and phosphosiderite beads. Definitely need more practice with symmetry but I'm having fun with it anyway and enjoying my "unique" pieces of jewelry I'm getting along the way haha. (First picture is angled to show the flash on the opal)
Post got deleted cause silly me put the link to it in the main text. Got these vice-grips style pliers off Temu(don’t judge me, you can find cool stuff on there), I swear, they have made working with wire SO much easier. Silicone heads to prevent marring and to weave wire easier, and since they lock in they keep everything together. I’ll provide a link if y’all want some
hi, I'm thinking of picking up learning wire wrapping with motivation of eventually using garnets I found during field classes. I wish I could use them in jewelry and wear them, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to execute in a way that would make sense. Something that would not hide its crystal habit and will keep it in place. If you have any idea, please share them. I'm thinking of wire wrapping, because I'm a student living in dorm, so I need some type of jewelry making that I can do inside my room.
Thank you
