I think I may be entering my fluorite era. Because *swoon*
My very first attempt at wire wrapping
Is it perfect? No.
But is it almost perfect? Also no.
But is it pretty okay for my very first try and a random rock from the garden? Yeah, I think so!
My end goal isn't necessarily to learn to make jewelry, but I really just wanted to get a feel for what it's like to work with the wire, so I found a round-ish rock and followed a YouTube tutorial by Zurick Designs Jewelry and Art, and I just gave it a whirl!
I definitely learned a lot from this quick little project and I already have ideas about how I can improve moving forward. I'm really determined to get great at this, and I am so excited. I've been in a creative rut for awhile now and this is the first time in a number of years that I finally feel the excitement of that creative energy buzzing again.
I'm so inspired by the beautiful work I've seen on this subreddit and I can't wait to see what happens next!
I wire wrapped a star pendant with a labradorite gemstone.
Please tell me what you think about my Art 🤎🍂
I have a question for you: How much would you pay for a tree like that ? The materials are copper and antique painted natural wood base. It has a height of approximately 12 cm
Thank you for taking the time to read this 🤎🍂
Sorry for the long wait. Here is the image of the back.
FOUND THIS IN MY YARD???
Found this in my yard could you please someone tell me what exactly it is and the meaning of it? Thanks

Arrowhead project for coworker
An old coworker of mine knew I was crafty and asked if I would wire wrap some arrowheads from his old family property for his three daughters to wear. For my first time, I think they came out pretty nicely. I followed Kelly J Jewellery’s “hunter” tutorial on YouTube
Good enough to sell?
People keep suggesting I sell my jewellery, but they're all friends and family so I don't know if they're just being nice. Is my work actually good enough to sell?
First attempt at channel setting went ace thanks to TheNomadicArtist’s tutorial. 12/10 would recommend.
First Time Oxidizing 🥰
This pendant was my first time using liver of sulfur. I was nervous about how it would turn out but I think it came out so beautifully!!
Where can I get dead soft copper wire / Annealed copper wire in Reykjavik or Selfoss area?
Hi im im a foreigner in Iceland living close to vik, and im having a hard time finding if there’s a place that I can get dead soft copper wire (or annealed copper wire) for wire wrapping/jewellery. Is there anywhere in Iceland I can find the wire, preferably in Reykjavik or Selfoss area?
Me tryin’ to figure out filling in negative space and adding multiple elements to a frame. It’s…a learning process.
Not sure if I like the quartz accents - think I’ll work on adding more coils and try my hand at filigree for the next one. But not with the precious labradorite - I use the jaspers as guinea pigs. They’re more expendable.
Trial and error, rinse and repeat…

Halp!
I am getting the hang of securing stones and cabochons with larger gauge wire, but the wrapping part still looks crazy and sloppy. What I struggle with is, how do you start where one end is unsecured? Also, when I try weaving, I get very inconsistent lengths. Also, how do you prevent running out of wrapping wire but still have a manageable amount? Any tips?
Not sure if this would be beadwork or wirecraft, but I made a bracelet!
Yes, it's meant to sit a little slanted. I used 12 gauge aluminium wire for the core, 28 gauge copper wire for the wrapping, and czech beads.
